Delete an EBS volume

Destructive

Permanently deletes the volume and all its data; the volume must first be detached from any instance.

Destructive: this command can permanently delete data. Check every value before running it.

aws ec2 delete-volume --volume-id volume_id

Edit the highlighted values, then copy. They are inserted as typed, without shell escaping.
