Copy with compression and progress

Transfers files compressed over the network, shows progress and keeps partial files so an interrupted copy can resume.

rsync -azhP source destination

Edit the highlighted values, then copy. They are inserted as typed, without shell escaping.

Values you edit carry over to the same value of the other commands, except on destructive commands, where they are always typed by hand.
