Upgrade or install a Helm release

Caution

Upgrades the release with the chart and values file, or installs it when it does not exist yet.

helm upgrade --install release chart -f values.yaml

Edit the highlighted values, then copy. They are inserted as typed, without shell escaping.

Values you edit carry over to the same value of the other commands, except on destructive commands, where they are always typed by hand.
